Let's talk about Facebook group suggestions.

There are two moments:
  1. When Facebook suggests groups via notifications, or in group search or navigation areas.
  2. When Facebook suggests group posts in the news feed.
I'm very curious if there are minimal daily/monthly post requirements for groups. Is it always better to have 10+ daily posts in groups to increase the chance of the group getting suggested?

Does it matter if the group is public or private?

I think about whether your posts get a lot of interaction and whether the group admins pin your posts

From my research it seems to be based on organic interaction with the group.

So if many legit accounts are interacting, posting, sharing and reacting to posts within the groups, this is how it gets pushed in to feeds and rises to the top of searches.

From my experience make strong interaction and high quality instead of quantity, suggested to users may improve by posting regularly with attractive content in your Facebook group, propose valuable content to your community

>> Sure, if your group has many posts and interactions such as likes and comments, Facebook will give you a higher recommendation. 10+ articles is ideal, remember to focus on content quality too
Of course, it should be public at the start and always

Facebook group suggestions are based on your interests, activities, friends, location, search history, and profile information to show relevant groups.

Facebook has no minimum daily or monthly post requirement for groups. The number of posts can be decided by the group admin. In my opinion having more posts in a group can increase the chances of your group being recommended to other users.

and public groups may be more visible on Facebook and may attract more participants than private groups.

As far as I know, for a Facebook group to be proposed, there will be 1 few factors as follows:
Your group gets a lot of searches in the Facebook search bar.
If the group is public, when the content reaches a lot of interaction, it will appear outside, attracting more new members to join the group to comment.
What should be noted the most is the search volume and the number of new members.

Those info are not publicly disclosed and algorithms take various factors into account such as group activity so fb will always suggest groups that are active with good engagements

Public groups will be known and searched by more people. As for private groups, most of them establish them to post for some of their members to join and learn

To increase activities in groups, initially open all public modes in the group, so that everyone can freely discuss without any restrictions.

Yes, the group must be public. It is best to add at least 1-2 posts per day, it must be active and have likes + comments

it'll be better if u have posts in public groups. more daily post will increase your chances of engagement, but don't post too many in 1 day
