How Difficult Is Making A Video Similar To This....?

Can anyone give me a rough idea of time frame and cost I should expect or request a video producer to charge me to make a video similar in quality and theme to this Google Wallet Training Vid? Obviously our product is different but we want it explained in the same kind of way this video was done.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Advertise on BHW
Find yourself an animator/after effects motion graphics artist (search around, freelancer etc. maybe ask for connects)
Get someone to do voice-overs from Fiverr (PM them, send a script and get a quote from them)

Negotiate a costs with each of these sources. Script/Voiceoverr needs to be done first, would help the animator with a quote if you block out the video (mock ups, screenshots/sketches in sync with audio) so they have a rough idea of how much work would be involved.

You can get really good quality on the cheap if you do things this way. Company I work for would charge 5k for this kind of thing but you could probably get it for less than a hundred if you find the right connect.

Difficult thing in outsourcing is that it's obviously the first time doing this kind of thing so the animator you could get could be of any quality. Who knows if they would just bail on the job half way. That's the risk of outsourcing.
 
Really? Less than a $100?! Dang Fivver peeps are really low ballin it. I hear you about the risks. I would probably be willing to pay more not to deal with so much risk. haha. I will most likely do the script and voiceover myself, I have experience in this already. Just need the animator to do similar job as the video above.

Search for creativez (BHW Username)...

They do stuff like these ... I've got my logo done by them. I must say they are really good with the stuff they do ... They will give you a custom quote for the requirement..

On the other hand if you want to keep it cheap .. Go search buy a template on Videohive( around 15~25$).. background music at AudioJungle ( around 10 ~ 15$) and make your own video. You don't need to be a Pro., I've figured out how to do it in like 2-3 hours. Straight and self explanatory.

You can make a kick ass video for less than 50 bucks ... Trust me they are really cool ...

Here I attach a video that I've done for an iphone app(Not a promotion on BHW). Costed me just 40$ ( 25 for the video template and 15$ for music ;) )

I would waste my time trying to get a video of that quality from 5er; it simply is not going to happen. You want to talk to Creativez. Check out is BST.

Where did you get that music? I have seen it before on like five other videos. I'm in love with it :D

That google video you mentioned involves 3D graphics, animation, post effects, compositing etc. and it's two and a half minute long. It's not as trivial and easy as it may look (looks light and fresh). I would charge some thousand (me: 3D professional for more than 10 years), but if you get it for 100, more power to you.
Client: What do I get for 50$?
Artist: White text on white background.
Client: And for 100?
Artist: Black text.
