How different is SEO for a static website - no blog?

I have a small personal/company-to-be website.
It's made in HTML and CSS, nothing else (JavaScript, etc).

The website doesn't have a blog and I am wondering just how harder can things get since I can't keep spewing content.

The website was created a couple of months ago and I put it up online less than 2 weeks ago. Although Google can find it when I type the specific name, I can't rank ANYWHERE for my keywords.

I've read Ahref's article on how long new websites take to rank, but shouldn't I rank at least on page 999 or something? I don't even show up on search results at all for keywords other than my website name. I'm not expecting to rank on page 10, let alone page 1 of Google, but at least SOMEWHERE?

My targeted keywords are scored around 25-30 on KWFinder.com. The websites who rank on the first page of Google are well established businesses, but Seven of them have PA of 1 and then DA of some is between 11 - 27.

Should it be that hard to even show up in the last, very last page of Google?

First, it won't be too much harder to rank a static website as long as you optimise the site correctly.

If your site is not showing up for its keyword it's probably because it has not been indexed yet or simply your keyword is too competitive.

I would recommend submitting your site to Google through its URL submitter.

After that do a check to see if you site is in the index by doing site:mydomainname.com

Finally just give it time and start building some links and building up your brand online.

Sorry I updated my post after you replied. Here's what I wrote about the competition:

The site seems to be indexed because when I type site:mydomain.com it shows up. Actually all 4 pages show up.

Like you've said I guess I need to give it time.
I've only created working reddit and twitter accounts yet. Obviously created a Google account and made a YouTube channel just to have presence and a Google Plus profile. I don't like how facebook wants to make two pages for you...1 for the person and then a second for the company, but I'd like to do is as well.

I don't have links on my webpage to the social profiles, so I guess that must be a vital thing to do as well.

if you have blog on your website, nothing better that that. I not, no need to worry. Add quality content on your website or maybe more pages (Services / Portfolio / Case Studies etc) with some attractive titles, URLs, Creative Content with LSI keywords and you will see the magic.
