How did you make your first $1000 online??

I bought a $7 PLR and made it my own by some rewriting.
Sold it for $9.95 a pop and made about $1200
I have repeated this strategy and made money in different niches.
But only buy from quality sellers.

Had A 100$ Adwords Coupon. Made a website around SEO services Promoted in indian market for 1c clicks. Got a Client paying me 800$ a month to rank "make money online" Keyword. He paid me for 3 months and vanished
 
Private Labeling Cellulite Cream on Amazon. Thanks to one Dr Oz TV segment, I sold out of product and had a little over $6k in sales in less than 24hrs. Exciting times.
 
Game hacking content locking site. Was the first real SEO site I ever made back when SEO was as easy as SEnuke and a few spun articles on a public blog network. The first $1k came relatively quickly.
 
Technically buying stuff from charity garage sales and then selling it on eBay, but that was more offline work than online.

Tried flipping hippy clothes, then tried a copywriting agency a couple years. Barely made profit.

Then spent $3k on Facebook ads to build a "make money online" email list. Didn't make a single red penny of sales from that. 100% loss.

My first $1k purely online was creating patreon.com pages for Russian dancers that I know and keeping a cut.
 
After working at various affiliate and lead gen companies, taught myself SEO and site builds. Happily sat back and watched the money come in. Then the 2011 disaster of updates happened so actually ended up working for more money as a consultant.
