Interact with other devs to get feedback, read the code of (well-known) libraries you're using etc. to absorb good software architecture & you will get better overtime.
Your first software will be built like shit, but then you'll see the problems of bad architecture and that's how you will learn
Will take time depending on how much time you're spending on that and how good as a developer you want to be, you never stop to progress really. If you're a beginner expect at least 1-2 years to be somewhat at ease with programming in general.
