Hey,

As the question says,

How did you learn C# / .NET ?
Any useful insights you can give me?
How much did it take +/-?

I already know the basics.

Would be glad to hear from you.

From school during my college days. Then I learn a lot about C# and vb.net from my second work.

Practice on a project you're interested in.
Interact with other devs to get feedback, read the code of (well-known) libraries you're using etc. to absorb good software architecture & you will get better overtime.

Your first software will be built like shit, but then you'll see the problems of bad architecture and that's how you will learn :)

Will take time depending on how much time you're spending on that and how good as a developer you want to be, you never stop to progress really. If you're a beginner expect at least 1-2 years to be somewhat at ease with programming in general.

When you learn syntax, I definitely suggest you to try https://abp.io/
This framework uses SOLID and OOP well. You will learn from it the best use cases.

Many online courses are available.. But you must work with some expert how offer you application to work on.. Only then you can shape your skills...
