I originally found BHW years before I joined but I was looking for other "Black Hat" information and left quickly (still kicking myself) then years later I was on WF and sick of getting scammed by shitty WSO's, started to search for them to see if I could find them for free. Came across BHW and started downloading all the WSO's then started reading the forum and was intrigued, the quality of the information was better than the WSO's, the community was great so decided to stick around and join up.
This is pretty much how I found BHW minus the getting scammed on WF. I used to read WF, never posted or bought there. However I came across this place many of times years before I joined, looking for free shit.

I kept coming across this site when I was searching for information on link building strategies as I was working on ranking a few local sites at the time. For quite a while I was just reading the information as a guest, basically just getting answers to random questions regarding various aspects of SEO, link building and so on. Seeing as this site kept turning out to be the one with the answers, I thought I might as well join.
At the time black hat SEO was totally alien to me so I felt like a bit of an outsider on the forum, but as time went on I realised what a wealth of information this site had to offer, and what a great community it contained.
The rest is history as they say.
