How depressing is this?????

If the method really works, then use it yourself to earn more $ then to sell it for so little.

Maybe your avatar is scaring the buyers away? :p

To be honest, that avatar scares me for sure.
Combine that with the name he chosen,
and I think he has to work double time just to overcome this.

From NLP standpoint the name we chose(and avatars) says a lot about us,
especially what we think about ourselves.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Not to squash what you've been doing for the past few months,
but you should just use your method till it dries up.

You will probably make a ton more money and you won't have the
hassle of dealing with the buyers returns, their problems and all
that junk.

BOO did I scare you?????
I thought my avatar was quite cute.
You know i REALLY AM A ROCK STAR

i REALLY HAVE practised guitar for twenty three years its my absolute passion and now my guitar is my third arm I dont call it a guitar anymore.
You only see what I am on about if you played as long as me and have THE PASSION.
Anyway
From what I read you people are getting only a few signups each night.

Replace all instance of 'faceparty' with 'myspace' and you might get some sales :D

I thought the price was fair as I looked at loads of other ebooks prices on Clickybank

What you think is immatierial. Test other price points to gather your own data and tweak your campaign accordingly.

Again, what you think is immaterial if making sales is your goal. Also, if you are a rock star, why are you not leveraging your considerable fame and notoriety to sell your product?

It looks like your headline/sales hook is getting dates and hooking up with hot women online, but then all your copy addresses scams. Not a consistent story, IMO.

Best,
Sine

I, and other people here have never heard of Faceparty. I dont think you should use it as your selling point or intro on the landing page. It should be a more generalized description on how you can make money off a specific dating site. I wouldnt even mention the name Faceparty, that can be part of the selling point, your book tells them what the site is and how they can make money off of it

Your copy gives up too much information! Way too much information for the type of report you're offering! The sales letter gives the potential purchaser enough info to make them think, "what do I need the report for?"

How depressing is this??

I made an ebook about Faceparty where people pretend to be girls etc to sign guys to affiliate cos.
So after a lot of hassle and money to set up how many saes do I have?
Yep zero. Not to mention bad timing of Faceparty changing.

Unique ebook
no sales?
What the freakin hell ?
Anyone have insight as t why?????????????????????????????????????

Well, if all you have done is put it on ClickBank, then you haven't even promoted it yet, so it's no wonder you haven't had any sales.

Still, I suspect you won't get many sales if you do promote it. You went about it all wrong and created a product that it's likely no one will want. Instead of guessing what people want, find out and give it to them. There are plenty of so-called "stupid ebooks" here that will explain to you exactly what to do.

Lol... this didn't really answer my question in the least sense.

Well, create a sales letter which will make people want that ebook .. try to sell it on DP forum for a little lower price, see how it goes there. That is a good test market. And get some JV partners with big lists - give them a higher percentage of commission than the regular affiliates and they will be happy to promote your product.

What is JV partners??

JV partners = Joint Venture partners

When you JV with something, you partner with them in some way.

Some people consider affiliates JV partners, but that's not really true. When you JV with someone, you're usually exchanging mailings to your email lists or something similar.

I still say you should give this away with dating affiliate links in it. Build a list, sell dating and seduction products.

If you're going to sell it, I'd suggest selling the site as a CB product on Sitepoint. Although it may be hard to sell it because of the issues already mentioned. (It's not a product people are likely willing to pay for and you've given everything away on the sales page.)

To toss my two cents into the mix, I'm going to post something practical first:

A 90 second headline rewrite! :)

"Still Looking For The Party at FaceParty.com?"

Ever have that special someone send all the right signals, to up and vanish? Chances are you were played by a pro.

That's right Casanova... social networking is the next big thing for scammers, tricksters, and pranksters. But thanks to Face Party Dirty Secrets Revealed, you'll be able to see through their tricks and find where the party is really at!

The one thing I noticed about the content is that you have two underlying themes: One is the mark's desire to find fun on Face Party, and the other is the hidden danger of scammers and fake users.

You attempted to use what is known as a "fear appeal" and frankly it came on too strong. Historical marketing research on fear appeals show that they are iffy at best even when pulled off by the Creme de la Creme. Fear paralyzes people, not motivates them to action.

You want an example of stimulating the buy impulse, give this article a read:
PHP:
http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/080610-bikini-effect.html

With that being said, I also agree with everyone else's assessment thus far.

Your price may be too high, and your niche may be too niche. One way to deal with that was suggested jokingly as 'change the references to "MySpace'"

In there lies a good suggestion... diversify. All the social media sites are susceptible to these tactics, and by including that in your product and it's marketing strategy you are still niche, but you've targeted enough to hopefully have a viable niche.

The content and the Comedy/Tragedy masks send mixed messages, and none of them stimulate a buy impulse.

Also, try to keep in mind that the average internet user prefers to assimilate information at a third grade reading level. Your audience may or may not be dumb, but they are certainly lazy! ;)

Also, scale back the content in general. Don't give everything away in your sales copy. Be concise, and lead them gently but firmly into your action.

All in all that's all I can really offer without knowing anything more about the product, but I hope you find it useful.

Everyone else, please feel free to chime in either way.

Hey Rook,

I just do not think your ebook has any market whatsoever. If you changed the theme to something like "Get a massive amount of beautiful women responding to you, regardless of looks, in a week on faceparty", that would sell.

However not many people on a mass scale use faceparty it seems, regardless of their user base.

Like you said I would recommend selling the site. You may be able to get 1k for it..
