How depressing is this??

I made an ebook about Faceparty where people pretend to be girls etc to sign guys to affiliate cos.
So after a lot of hassle and money to set up how many saes do I have?
Yep zero. Not to mention bad timing of Faceparty changing.

Unique ebook
no sales?
What the freakin hell ?
Anyone have insight as t why?????????????????????????????????????

How much time have you put in and how many days have you tried this? Also, usually people make an ebook of something that they are doing successfully... what did you base the ebook on?

got a sales page? Maybe some of the guys here can tear into it and let you know why. I mean honestly one thing I have learned is educational material rarely sells for what it's worth. It's either a ripoff at any price or the kinda thing that would be worth thousands if the person reading it applies it.

If I could take everything I have learned on my own over the past 2-3 years about real estate investing, and somehow go back in time and buy it as a boo, I would pay as much as I had in my bank account, and then I would probably sell blood and semen (at the same time?).

I feel for ya Rook. I spent about a month writing and ebook and setting up a webite to support it, and just when I went to launch it on egay... They made the no digital rule. It made me so mad that I don't even care to market it on a cd to sell.

I misread the post rookie. I now see you're trying to sell the ebook, sorry for the misunderstanding. Don't give up on it just yet though. Are you getting traffic to your sales page?

Well what do your metrics look like?

How many clicks are you getting for those no sales?

TO be fair the site has only been up few weeks.
However I thought some affiliates would have picked it up on Clickbank

the problem is that i haven't even heard of faceparty. facebook yes, faceparty no. your market/niche is too small...

true...

i've never heard of faceparty..

and i just checked your sales page,

you should put some bullet stuff.

like

- learn how to get laid
- you will reveal the 2e1x2e secrets..

u know?.

and i think the price is too high.. since not much people know your niche...

Ok, this isn't a "how to make money on FaceParty" product, right? It sounds like a book about how people might become victims of these scams on FP, but who is going to pay for that? What incentive do they have to pay you?

IMO:

1. No one is going to pay for this info, because you just told them there are scams. Now they already know to be careful and you've just told them for free.

2. You're not selling information people NEED or are HUNGRY for.

3. The price is WAY too high.

4. Affiliates don't just "pick up" CB products. You have to seek them out. You have to network. You have to find affiliates and ask them to promote you. The only way you get miraculously "found" by affiliates on CB is if you have very high gravity by promoting the product yourself through your own second CB account as an affiliate or if you have a VERY hot product/niche and NO competition.

Sorry... but you made a product no one wants to buy. :(

Hey Faceparty is one of THE BIGGEST dating sites.
So I thought really loads of thick guys on there so they might just buy my book as those guys ego's would be hurt if they did not know how they were being fooled!!
Also I paid one of the top professionals to do the template so why you say get rid of the faces ???????

Yes, there are products on CB that are very, very expensive, and some of them are worth every penny. Unfortunately, your product isn't worth much. I don't say that to hurt you, but it's the truth.

See, the products that charge a lot of money (and are worth it) are the products that:

1. Solve a serious problem like fire ants or severe acne.

2. Show someone how to make a lot of money.

3. Help someone with health issues like obesity or diabetes.

4. Solve peoples' worst fears like being alone or dying early.

5. Show how to fix a problem that might be expensive to repair, like car problems or the Xbox ring of death.

6. Show people how to get free stuff, like television or electronics.

Your product is one of those things people might like to have if it were free, but they're not likely to pay money for it. You give away your entire product in the sales letter! By telling them they might be the victim of these people, you've already given them most of the information they need. They have no reason to buy from you.

A little ego bruise is NOT enough to make the vast majority of people buy something. Public embarrassment, yes. Utter humiliation in front of your peers, hell yes. A little ego bruise in the privacy of their own home, no.

My suggestion is to remove your product from CB, put up a squeeze page, give it away for free to build a list, then promote legitimate dating products like quality dating sites and how to pick up chicks type products to the list you build.
