How can you completely remove a business listing on GMB ?

We have a business that has an exact duplicate of details except for the name, with another business listing.Do you think we can declare this as duplicate even though the name is different ? We have both the access of the two listing.

I have some ideas in mind but I think this will not completely remove the listing.
1. Declare the duplicate permanently closed.
2. Remove the listing location through GMB account but would only unverified the duplicate listing.

Can you share me the most effective way to permanently delete a GMB listing ?

IMO option 1 will be the best method to choose.
