How can this wordpress site display ads with Adblock on?

Hey everyone!

Recently I came across a wordpress website and I was surprised to see the ads from adsense display on my browser since I have Adblock enabled.
The strange thing is that the ads do not display at the homepage but when you go to an article, at least for me.

Is there a good reliable wordpress plugin that enables that?
I would be interested on using that too.

Please let me know if you can figure it out on that particular site.

not too sure but it could be using this http://www.adpushup.com/. It looks like you ad your adsense code and they have some sort of technology that bypasses adblocking software.

I don't see any ads but I block mine with the hosts file. There is a flash plugin trying to load though. Google has implemented a new form of ads and that's an overlay ad you may or may not know this. I block google ads globally. I don't rely on ad blockers.

Nope. That's not what Adpushup does. They do a/b testing for AdSense and since it's AdSense or AdX that is serves than it can't work as an anti ad blocker. Could be that the anti ad blocker is something else. I recommend that first you read https://www.adngin.com/blog/adsense-tips/how-to-find-out-what-of-your-traffic-uses-ad-blockers/ to better understand your ad blocked traffic before you go for anti ad blocking
