How can i remove the website

So i had a domain , a blog
xyz.wordpress.com

Now i have shifted it to
xyz.com

When i search "xyz" , the one which tops is xyz.wordpress.com and xyz.com is nowhere to be sheen on first page.
Anyone can help me take that one down and rank the self hosted domain

It will take sometime for indexing and then it will be displayed on google search.
