How can i remove the website

So i had a domain , a blog
xyz.wordpress.com

Now i have shifted it to
xyz.com

When i search "xyz" , the one which tops is xyz.wordpress.com and xyz.com is nowhere to be sheen on first page.
Anyone can help me take that one down and rank the self hosted domain
