How can I make my site more popular? I really like what I do, it's a field I love. I'm willing to put in lots of time and effort into making this work, please any tips.
just google tech-ape and it is a top level domain

Find like minded people on Facebook, make a page, gain likes, update your statuses with relevant interesting info, etc.

use twitter, facebook for posting updates and gain followers, do bookmarks for your post. Go manually comment on other people blogs without being spammy.

Use forums, build connections, use competitions for gaining loyal visitors time to time.
