How can I implement Schema.org validation Manually?

Hi,
Today I attend a interview in a Digital Marketing agency. He ask me 1 question "What is Schema? How can we validat manually?". I never used schema on my website, I worked on wordpress websites. So it's automatically generated by plugins.
I want to learn how can I validate schema manually and want to know types of schema.
Anyone can help me to understand it?

It's pretty easy to do it manually and you can find how to do it with a simple Google search, but it takes forever if you're manually inserting it into every page.
