How can i get listed on dmoz

    Hey guys how can i get my domain listed on dmoz and is their any other you recommend that will help out for seo purposes

    Take the ads away and see what value you deliver.

    And without ads it should let you in in my opinion. But it can last long when no suitable editor is available.

    Been trying to get accepted into dmoz for 9 years, no ads on my site.

    I tried it for 4 yeras ( none ads and site with ton of information ), Dmoz is totally out of updates. I can find site that not longer exist and appearence in their list. Search in your category and you will find it.

    dmoz will give you average 0 PR link juice.

    are you still living in 2008 ?

    Yahoo is charging 300 usd per year per site for none adult sites and 600 for adult site. It is worthless ?

    to get into DMOZ i had to apply to be an editor after 4 years of running my site and by the luck of the draw was made one.

    Its just my opinion but on yahoo about +25 position....example if you position is 30th.

    If you will be 10th. position then it all depends about your competitors but surely it will help.
    If you wanna know does your competitors useing yahoo directory then www.websitegrader.com will help you a lot. dont believe very much what this websitegrader stats. saying but at least you know the major things why your site is not ranking ok :)

    about google...again...if you business is serious then you have to have this stupid yahoo directory. But if you are making less than $2000 per month then this Y directory is not urgent problem.

    anyway if you business is serious then better you pay these pennies to yahoo, register your domain at least for 10 years etc.
