If you're not familiar with the fair use law, google it. My understanding is, if I just edit a bunch of short clips together into a video, that doesn't change the original clips enough to be considered fair use.
I've seen some compilation videos with text commentary added at the bottom, but I'm not sure if that's enough to be considered fair use compliant. I'm looking for creative ideas to add something to the original clips so the video is considered fair use.
p.s. If you create compilation videos that are not fair use, that's copyright infringement and you risk getting sued (although it's rare).
