How can I change my IP without using proxy? Is there such a service?

I would like to use different IPs but I dont want them to be proxies because you can't purchase stuff over a proxy (the vendor site detects it)

Are there any alternatives to proxies that are safe for online purchases?

Many times you can change you IP via your ISP. The way you do it depends on your ISP.

For many cable ISPs you need to change the mac address of the device connected to the Cable box for the internet. I would use big g and search "Change IP for XXX" XXX = Your ISP.

Changing your IP is best done through your ISP, however, depending on your ISP, if you use a router for a wireless connection changing your IP address can be as simple as changing the router's MAC address, or in some instances simply unplugging the router overnight.
 
Just wondering: which vendorsite detects you use a proxy ?
Only flash stuff can detect a proxy configuration and you should know that millions of people use a proxy to be online because they have to. (schools, work etc)
