I’m Brazilian and want to know if it’s possible for a minor to join a war. I understand there are restrictions, but I’d appreciate any information on how someone in my situation could get involved.

Do not join war young man. You will fight for people using you for their own interest.
Live your life peacefully. You only have one.

Brazil is a very peaceful country, so I assume you'd fight for another country
It doesn't make sense at all

I know there are mercenary groups recruiting foreigners, but unless you have no other choice or option in life, there's no reason to join them

It isn't as glorious as you think.

One reason I can think of is for exemple the Legion Étrangère in France. It means foreign legion. Every one can join them even if you are from another country. People try to join the Legion étrangère because France will give you the french nationality and don't care if you have criminal record.
Also you will be 1st line during combat...

Human rights activists fight to reduce "child soldiers" (minor soldiers. below the age soldiers) even if it's voluntary. It's against international laws! do not think to join an army or a war if you are minor. If you did - even voluntary - it means you got manipulated!

And even if you're not minor, I don't recommend to join an army or a war, it's not Call of Duty, it's LIFE, we should LIVE it - with peace.

Weapons companies are the only ones who ever benefit from war. We should always be looking to broker peace around the world.

first I truly believe this is a topic you should speak with your parents, family in charge or guardian because they are the ones directly protecting you and I'm sure they will do anything to keep you out of the war talk to your family that being said there is only one scenario where they force military service to any one close to the adult age again speak to your family they know the best for you.

You can join the French Foreign Legion if you are 17 and a half.

Your parent must sign you off on the spot tho.. Goodluck getting to France from Brazil, not the shortest trip.

If you fail the enlistement for whatever reason, they should still give you a little under 500 euros (if you were there for a few weeks).. not sure if that helps you back home.

PS: Should they kick you out then there is a monastery in France where you can go for a refuge, they give you free bed and food but you need to work your ass off for the monks lol.

Uhm. If you look historically, when there's a need children fight too (like fighting occupants, etc) but apparently that's not the case in your country / situation because you'd be already fighting and not asking that. Wait till you're an adult and join an army. In some cases you can even get your college education funded so it's not as bad as people make it out to be. But yeah, work on yourself, don't try to join as early as possible to become cannon fodder...

This thread should be deleted for a bunch of reasons. But to OP, don`t fckn do it.
