BlackHat World's official means of communication is via this forum (posts, threads, or Direct Messages) or our Support Desk.

In some cases, we will use our @BlackHatWorld.com emails to conduct business as well. If, in the event you believe someone is spoofing an email, you can always open a ticket with Support to make certain the email is legit.

At no time will anyone from the BlackHat World team contact you using other outside communication sources.

Once again, if you believe you are in contact with someone from BHW and want to verify, please open a ticket with Support who will be happy to verify the source.

It's wonderful to receive support from the BHW team from such a large community, and we are incredibly grateful for it.

Thanks for the clarification—really appreciate the transparency and keeping everyone safe!

Now that I'm catching up on the forum, it's great to see this thread exists, as it's been discussed and mentioned several times.
Thanks, Petra, for creating this thread.

This is a bump, to make sure the information reaches the right people.

many people need such a reminder from time to time :D

since we're on the subject, something simmilar and related to BHW happened to me a few weeks ago, received a guest post review from a seller on the forum, after a week I got an email "from the site where the review was posted" but it was a random email not on that domain, stating that I had an unpaid guest post from them and it will be removed if I don't pay, along with an invoice, i asked the one on the forum who provided it and it was a scam :)
