How are you emailing potential clients?

Optin Lists are for brick and mortar.. I would blast lists and work with fresh incoming leads.
TotalEmailAutoresponder is what I use. Stuff Like GR, Aweber, And MailChimp is for building opt in lists not large scale email blasting and multi-series email conversations

Gmail accounts? Are you serious? No one wants to do business with laggards. Ans it looks totally unsafe. It's ok for a freelancer, but not for a company

Using your own domain is the only option IMO. Possibly it's a stereotype, but gmails do look questionably.

Thanks to all on this thread, it's definitely helped give a better idea of what to do with this very large email list I have. The concern is not losing the domain name to sending out large emails daily. Any other tips please pm. I really want to put this list to a test and see if I can make this IM start generating some sales. =)

whatever, Customers will be more welcome and trusted with domain emails. It will be more affected to them

The best thing is to higher a professionals who do email marketing, but it is a way too expensive(((

I use send blaster pro or mailrelay, this last one is by web version.

For inboxing it's hard to beat a GMail account. If I send the same email from my domain and from my gmail account. The one from GMail is more likely to end up in the inbox. It does look less professional and I prefer to use @mydomain.com but I do use gmail if the @mydomain.com doesn't get received.

I would also say that messages from gmail accounts always end up in the spam box regardless of the content in them. I will say this because I have found numerous gmail messages from legal companies that i believe in ending up in my spam box. this made me wonder why but I have never found the reason. Just because of that, I decided not to be using g mail account for my business as there is also a high probability that they will end up in the spam box. just use your domain because it looks more professional. all the best. cheers

I think all the conversation concludes well in the end, business email should be created in a professional way using @yourdomain.com, instead of using Gmail.
