How are they linking like this? Hidden Links

Hello all,

While monitoring a competitors link profile, I noticed some high quality links hidden within, what look like, genuine pages, and I was wondering how this is not detected as "hidden links" by google etc, which I thought were being penalised.

For example, if you go to this site www[dot]varico[dot]pl/ and do a quick find for the phrase "rattan", you will notice that a url shows just above the search box, however you cannot see any link on the page.

The code for it in the back end looks like this:
Code:
 <div class="ssupport"><a href="url" title="rattan furniture">rattan furniture</a></div>

Just wondering if anyone had seen/used this before, as it seems to be giving them great results through it.

I think it is a hacked site.

the css style:

.ssupport a {position: absolute;text-indent: -8000px;}

I thought it might be.

They have so many of these high quality links that they must have bought a "hacked link package" surely.

I'm not sure how I can compete with all of these exact match anchor homepage links on such high da pa pages.

I just hope they get flagged asap!
