How are they getting ranked?

Just started learning and digging in some websites how they rank on google, myself i am doing CPA with Youtube but did some Parasites on google. Ranked some of them without any backlinks, as soon as i start to build some backlinks on the parasite, the kws are out of serp.. I guess i'm doing something wrong.

Seen some websites getting links from sites like "Keyword research tracker " , " Top Websites ","Top Domains" and etc. Probably some PBNs just adding bunch of outbound links. I see all of those links are nofollow, how the heck they rank with only nofollow links?

What kind of links did you build? GSA

Btw no follow links for 2 years now are a “hint directive” it can surely pass power if google deems it to.

I did them like this

Build more quality links and make sure they are index or not. If not try to index them.

Maybe It's because of low quality links. Not matter no follow or ********, if they're bad quality, they can harm. Try to build quality backlinks.

how long did it take for your rankings to disappear after making the links? how many days have you been gone? If it was recent, we are in the midst of a Google update, that also has to be taken into account.

You can build a new quality backlink.

Yeah probably the quality of them was bad i guess.. And you're saying that doesn't matter if they are nofollow or do follow?

Nope not after the update, it was before.

he is partially right. Links that come from reputable sites / big brands (CNN, Forbes, Cosmopolitan, etc) are good even if they're nofollow because google trusts those brands and any vote (ie backlink) coming from them will count towards your site being trustworthy to google, so these nofollow links indirectly help with your rankings.

But from less known / trusted / popular brands, the d0-fol10w links are the important ones because only they pass link juice / page rank / authority / PA / whatever you want to call it. But the thing is that natural link profiles have a mix of both types (nofollow and d-0foll0w) of links, so even if you can't get links from good sites you will still want to have a mix of both types in your backlinking profile so that it doesn't look like you're building links.
