Right now I have a bot farm that creates accounts, verifies email, does different aging tasks for different days and then gets the accounts to over 100 karma. It also can send upvotes, downvotes, and comments. (I still have to refine these 3 scripts, but bad proxies got in the way of my work for now...waiting on a dongle adapter for a SIM card since I decided I'm going to do proxies myself with 4G IP rotation.)
I spent a month on this arguing back and forth with ChatGPT to make it. It was a massive pain and I don't recommend anyone taking this route. Someone on Fiverr was nice enough to help me with the captcha at login and account creation and also show me how to work with shadow DOM in video call.
Now the issue I'm having is proxies and detection, but I'm 80% there I think...?
Does anyone know if I'm going to run into any other challenges (besides detection and complicated proxy set up once my dongle gets here?)

Does your script use Selenium to create accounts? And for solving captchas, do you rely on a captcha-solving service, or do you opt for the audio challenge instead of images?

I'm using Selenium, yes. I use 2captcha for the captcha solving. Originally I did the audio with the images and Recaptcha but that caused Reddit to detect it I think because I started getting errors on the site.

You need at least 20-25 upvotes per minute to actively and effectively spam the subreddits. You also need boguht accounts since freshly created accounts without 2fa get banned easily. For proxies you can create your own or use gridpanel. Besides that you cant only upvote one user instead the bot has to upvote other girls also. If you need coding help or investment i am looking to develop such bot. I have a friend who has coded a software that can login and upvote posts using chromium. But you need to spend min 2k usd on accounts monthly to make it a possibility. Thank you

Also on reddit there is achievements the more achievements you have completed its better 2fa is better and if the account actively posts comments upvotes and makes text based posts you are not able to get banned as easily.

For that money monthly i'll literally buy physical computers and phones, hire a few workers and do it manually for you. Is it 6,000,000 upvotes a month you're buying?
yes
it would end up being more expensive with hardware and humans because you still need aged karma'd accounts and dedicated residentail proxies, so just extra cost (with hardware and humans) for nothing. Instead the either browser automation or private api is the fraction of the cost of hardware and humans
ya around 40,000 to 60,000 upvotes a month

I haven't heard of Gridpanel. I'm not upvoting girls/models, I'm doing something totally different. I think I need to do everything myself. I'm going to figure out how to create accounts and not have them banned. Buying them would be too expensive and I've seen other people saying not to buy them and to do everything in-house which I agree with.

Is the bot using browser automation or private API? What is your setup tech stack (anti detect browser?, selenium? etc.)
ChatGPT did not like what you were doing when using their API? Could you explain please.
For proxy, wouldn't dedicated residential proxy work?

It's browser animation with Selenium. The accounts are getting banned but right now I'm tackling the tasks themselves, once everything is done then I'll work on antidetect.
No antidetect browser yet with the scripts, but I was using Adspower back when I was doing it manually. When I start to work on antidetect I may try to code it to use one of those browsers.
It uses ChatGPT to create comments to farm karma. I'm not working in the NSFW niche so I'm not doing what a lot of people are doing.
Dedicated residentials are too expensive for me. I'm going to be creating 100s of accounts. I am not paying for a proxy for each account. I need mobile rotating proxies.
Besides IPRoyal (who screwed me) for $140, my total costs so far are only $60. The parts I couldn't figure out after weeks of back and forth getting ChatGPT to program this stuff I had a guy on Fiverr help me with. I guess there's the $3 I deposited into 2Captcha as well, but my costs are super low right now.
EDIT: If you want to factor in costs I am out a month of my time getting this thing built so far, so that's a lot of time gone.
I use to buy a lot of accounts from vendors (IDK how many, over 2,000 though) and their setup is always VPN + unique chrome profile. I think that is highly likely accounts get banned due to that creation setup.
And then they usually buy wholesale from someone who ages the account. So the vendor you buy from is not even the one one who created the account LOL.

Thanks for the info! I agree that I think vendor accounts are too risky. Creating them myself and taking any "unknown variables" out of the equation is the best thing I can do right now I think.
What kind of browser are you using?
Why do you think your accounts are getting banned? I think factors include:
- browser
- proxy (low quality and rotating instead of high quality dedicated residential/mobile)
- buying accounts from vendors (as vendors create with VPN setup)
- activity, of course
Unless you are planning on burning through accounts, like churn and burn, spending like 2K usd a month on proxies for 600'ish accounts should not be a big cost. Aren't you planning on making a lot more than 2K a month? How are you going to monetize?
yes that is exactly what I have done. Many factors so I try to reduce possible factors by taking it in house and it is also less of a headache than dealing with vendors.

I think proxy, the fact I'm using automation, and activity primarily. Going to need to do a lot of tests.
Back when I was doing everything manually a percentage of the accounts would get banned, a percentage wouldn't. Usually they'd get shadow banned. It was when I put links. People could tell I was a bot and were commenting or reporting the comment I think.
That, and moderators in the subreddits were a problem.
I was doing Amazon Associates before they banned my account and I lost $30,000 they were supposed to pay me.
May still pursue that legally, I hate Amazon with a burning passion lol.
Not right now but that's why I need the automation. I have some plans to scale things but for the unique method I'm thinking of I'm going to be doing something crazy nobody else is doing. I have to treat the accounts like they are disposable, thus the rotating proxies is the max I can spend or it's not profitable.
Do you have a Discord? Would love to stay in touch and plot against Reddit together, hehe
Why did Amazon ban your account? Were you linking directly to Amazon products from Reddit?
In my experience, proxies are the main reason for getting banned. Based on my limited testing, here's what I've found:
- Static Proxies: These always get me banned, whether I'm posting manually or using automation, even with simple comments.
- Rotating Proxies: These get me banned when they rotate. However, sometimes I can post or comment with a link without any warmup.
- Mobile Proxies: These generally don't get me banned when I post comments or non-link posts. However, posting with links has about a 50-50 chance of getting me banned.
By the way, I don't use automation through the browser.
