How are people paying so much for PPC bids?

Hey,

Recently I did some research for an affiliate program that I am, a part of.

Let's say the best affiliate commission is around $30 - $50 per referral. I am finding that people are bidding on related keywords on Google ads for there articles and the upper CPC on Keyword Planner is $10 - $15 per click.

This means they would need a 100% conversion rate for it to be profitable.

Why an how are people doing this?

Advertise on BHW
Generous ad credits or threshold accounts. Some industries can pay huge sums for the traffic too if they are high ticket (SaaS/Lawyers). I don't use Google Ads anymore, but Microsoft Ads Im going to take another crack at since they are a lot less per click.

Both of you make a lot of sense. Looks like finding a reputable threshold supplier is difficult these days.
 
and/or affiliate programs pay their best affiliates more than the official rate :rolleyes:
