While researching potential keywords I keep coming across people ranking youtube streams that are past date, some are from 2017 and 2018. The streaming dialogue on the video pages just say "Waiting for (Channel Name)." And underneath that is the scheduled date such as "June 29th, 2017 at 12:00 AM".

How do you do this? Any information is appreciated, Thank you!

the scheduled live stream 'event' is a known method to exploit the ranking algorithm of google/YouTube and get ranking boost for long tail keywords
i posted about premiere events here (scheduled premiere is actually very similar to scheduled live-stream event)

anyway i didn't saw scheduled events that stuck with a past date, can you point me to some real example of what you saw?

Would like to see some examples if possible. Maybe they are just running streams 24/7 or testing something.

They're not just running streams 24/7, the streams are PAST dated, yet the wording is such like we're waiting for them to start their broadcast on 9/14/17, etc.
