How are curated links (niche edits) acquired?

Have been looking into niche edit links and wondering how to outreach and get these kind of links. I'm talking about getting links
edited into to a page that already exists and is established.

When doing regular guest posting outreach it's easier to contact blog owners and offer them free content for their site but if wanting to just edit
one of their old posts with a link then you don't really provide them any value.

Is just straight up offering them some money for a link edit the way everyone does it?

What are some approach ideas for getting these kind of a links when outreaching?

As far as I know, sometimes money is offered, sometimes it's resource/broken link building, and sometimes they are simply hacked sites.

Comparing to the new post, old post will have more value IMO. But make sure the article and website are relevant to your link. And, it depends on bloggers so ask them directly what type of backlink offerings they have.

Check the blog and find some broken link that is related to your niche means you can contact the blogger directly about this and ask him for replace your related page link. But most of the bloggers ask fee for this type of links.

Some people offer money, some people offer something else of perceived value i.e. exposure on large active social accounts, some poeple just ask if they can add the link without any incentive. The bigger the incentive you offer the more likely you are to get the link, but you can get them without offering anything, just be prepared for a very low success rate.

Ive seen a bit of success with acquiring niche edit links for $10-20 bucks a pop using Intellifluence. Otherwise, email outreach and offering monetary compensation should work fine too.
