In its own, the tool is 100% accurate along with other tools. However, they rely on data that can be automatically gathered and doesn't take into account some other information that requires manual interference. So ultimately, use it as a "tool" and don't fully rely on it!

KWfinder is a good tool for long term keyword research. I wouldn't trust in the data. For example the tool says that the competition for "iPhone" is easy ...

In my opinion ahrefs is even better than KWFinder.
