How accurate is IG Insights?

I suspect the audience insights on my IG are wrong. Especially the Top Locations.

I could be wrong, but definitely seems that way.

Anyone know how accurate they are?

Is there a way to reset/refresh them?

Or some way check they're accurate (without having to register for an app)?

Noone knows IG's customer base better than IG itself so how can you be so sure the problem lies within its insight?

As I said, I could be wrong. I'm not sure. That's why I'm asking opinions. I guess yours is that Insights are accurate?

For me IG insights seems to be working very well.

well for sure there can be some "fakes" as ppl maye just choose being male even they are female and stuff like that but Im pretty sure that shouldnt be like a big problem

It's just I seem to have loads of followers from a certain country where I'm not well known, English isn't the first language (all my posts are English) and I hardly ever see comments from people from there. It's like 23% of my followers and I have no idea why!
