Yes it's a hot wallet. Once you delete it from your device then it becomes NO wallet. As in, there is no wallet connected to the internet, there is no offline storage of the private keys either. A 3rd party app that connects you to the blockchain is not present on the disk space. Do you understand? Well it depends on the type of wallet you use, they are not all compatible. Exodus uses a BIP39 standard for their seed phrase, so you will be able to restore it on any of these wallets: BIP39 Wallet List - Mnemonic Seed Phrase (Updated 2023) – Blockplate
You can run some tests to recover using your seed phrase on different platforms to confirm that they do indeed work with each other.

That's not how hot wallets work
deleting it just removes it's access point from your device while it is still an online wallet that can be access from other entry points provided they can get what they need.
Maybe for you it's an poor man cold wallet? lol
This is why cold wallets are always recommend for storing large amounts of crypto due being designed having an offline nature

I don't think you understand that hot wallets and cold wallets are the same in terms of connecting to the blockchain and the only difference is that one is connected to the internet while the other isn't. That is why you can recover your coins on a cold wallet that were first deposited on a hot wallet, and vice versa.
But for my own amusement I fired up Chat GPT so that any other reader may learn from this exchange, since you are clearly refusing to.
