She's got the body of a super heroine, that's for sure, although they should have cast a real Russian as Black Widow (the character in the comics does NOT come across as looking Jewish-American). Scarlett really pushed to get the role, because it has elevated her brand into the stratosphere as a 'total package' A-list star (hot looks, giant box office, bonafide resume as a lead female action star). Lucy is her attempt to build the case that she can be an action star draw without a franchise, and if it succeeds she grows still more. She's over a decade younger than Jolie, meaning she can ride having a lock on action genre top roles for at least another 10 years.
