Hostwinds Down?

I'm on shared business server 3 with your best business plan
It was down for about 24 hours - home page, cpanel and ftp all timed out
support thought they'd fixed it but had to have another go before it worked properly
I can confirm that BS3 was down, and that BS3 and 4 are down at least once a fortnight (I know, because Pingdom sends me emails when my sites are down/up). The downtime isn't usually for long, but it happens all the time and denies me the only thing I want from a host - peace of mind.

Please send pingdom SS's and compensation will be given if we aren't meeting our 99% uptime guarantee, we will also investigate and find the root cause if your sites are indeed down as often as you are implying

i recently order in hostwinds about 4days ago and there's so many times i got this error i taught it maybe because of being propagated but i checked again the email the propagaton process will take only 24-72hours but its already 4days 
and i didnt do anything with the IP and servers...

I'm on shared3 and mine went in and out about 4 times today.. the first time it was out for about an hour. I got ahold of Peter on skype and he looked into it.. said my site was loading fine for him. found out that he had his ips whitelisted.. but it wasn't letting anyone else access the sites. apparently they had a DDoS attack on Wednesday.. and the protection ended up eventually blacklisting all the ips after it got attacked so much he said. He fixed it within a few minutes of talking to him.
However, it happened 3 more times after this but only went offline for about 5minutes max. I'm eating some food and browsing bhw.. but when i'm done eating i'm gonna check my pingdom logs to show him and see if there's anything else that can be done. but I'm assuming everytime they get DDoSed it blocks all ips for 5 minutes.. then comes back online. which really sucks. I'll post back after I've heard something new from him.

The system will only block IP's of potential DDOSers, your IP just got picked up as a false positive because we had the protection too tight. I will look into this again as soon as I arrive at the office, there is no reason you should be still having issues after we spoke yesterday, if anything else happens even for 1 minute I want to know about it so be sure and message me on skype

Yup, down.. I hope they get this fixed, soon, too. I switched to them from another web host for this same reason. Seems like it's happening frequently lately.. Hope it's not a trend.

yeah, got an email about the hard drive failure on shared 2 server this morning and I can't find my backups...great :/
