Hostwinds Down?

My site is now back up. It's been down for most of the day. Haven't been able to access cPanel, Clients area, server status or the hostwinds site. Everything else has been loading fine.

Hello dear friends... I am very dissapoint with this hosting provider. Me no have access to sites for all day long! Even here in my country there is not so much problems with power outage as with this ISP! I lost much money today and I need to feed family of 11 people. When will this problem resolve? This cannot be accepted!!

13+ hours downtime now and still counting... support told me they have no EAT as to when this will be fixed. This is not even remotely funny anymore.. I am starting to be scared to lose my Google Rankings!! I am gonna sign up with Hostgator now. WTF!

To be fair even google's gmail has been off for 24 hours. Give them a break it's costing them money being down. I know i've done hosting before it's a bitch!

I just spoke with Peter about an hour ago. The cooling in the datacenter went down and he is working to restore all of our shit now. This is pretty much beyond his control and really these things happen. Show some patience here people. I know it sucks and I have had my clients calling me all day asking WTF. Just relax and I am sure Peter will work it out ASAP.
First off, it is not only costing them money, but also the people hosting at them. Secondly, to be fair, yes... they have worked great for me so far and I only had minor problems with them. This month however has been horrible for me so far. There was a lot of downtime - not only today - so I think I am angry for a reason!
Besides that... I have a feeling that if they weren't hosting this precious forum, people would give them a lot of more shit for this.

I got an inaccurate one many hours ago. Nothing else yet. It's been 19 hours for me so far.

I have a few sites with hostwinds. I'm working on getting some offline sitebuilding going and there is no way I would put a clients site on hostwinds. It's one thing to have a few of my Adsense/Amazon sites go down now and then, that's bad enough, but if I had a bunch of clients calling me about their sites going down every few weeks it would drive me crazy.
I tried hostwinds initially because of their relationship with BHW but it seems that all that means is that all of the anti-hostwinds threads get merged into one thread so they don't look so bad. One of the sections in this thread was a thread I started the last time they went down and now it's been incorporated in with all of the other "WTF Hostwinds?" threads. Lesson learned I guess? Sucks I just paid for 3 more months with them though.
