I don't know how to mention this, but 512 MB Physical Storage is just a scam. I don't want to name the hosting provider, but most of you might be knowing which company provides only 512 MB Physical Storage.

Since few days my website which was live since 3 years and had started earning good revenue using Advertisements, started getting Physical Memory Full Notifications, and when I enquired it was only 100 to 250 MB till last month and this month suddenly it reached 100%, because of which my website became not reachable. 503 errors.

I tried contacting the "so called" technical customer care staff and they were just suggesting to upgrade the hosting plan. I did so and now my website seems to be corrupted, and the software that I was running is not working anymore.

My 3+ years work got into blackhole in one night itself, and unfortunately, I didn't had a backup. I know I am novice in that sense, but this is the reality.

Now the issue is that my links are not working and I will have to start from scratch, and I am not sure where to start from. I have already thought of changing the hosting as it is one of the worst experience. All revenue lost now, will have to add all the 1k articles again on new website and wait until it ranks again.

It's really shocking, Every digital asset must have one more extra backup. Speak with your customer support to find any possible to retrieve the data.

They seem to be ignorant or might be they don't know anything or maybe they don't want to help their clients. It's just weird how a big company can screw its clients.

you can use a tool like Archivarix to download some / most / all of the site and re-upload to your (hopefully) new and better hosting. And for God's sake, find a hoster that makes daily backups automatically for your site, plenty of hosters are doing this nowadays...

very sad to know about this incident, but you should always keep an offline backup in your PC or Gdrive, and there are many good hosting providers who give higher storage plans in very good prices. 512mb storage is useless.

major lesson learned -- you need backups of all your website files.
was it wordpress? can you still access cpanel? are your files still on the server? could just be 1-2 small things you need to tweak in the backend to recover it.

You should have checked first what caused the sudden decrease of disk space. Logs, errors, etc. You should have deleted those files.

GoDaddy did some "upgrades" on their side 10 days ago and they literally ruined my main sources of income, this lasted for 3-4 days, at the first they tried to help me just to finally admit that it is a mistake on their side and that many clients are affected. I tried deleting all plugins (especially Jetpack) but nothing worked. At least all my files are there now and income and visits are back at normal levels.

sorry to hear that but if the site was important should have backups if no backups i guess the site is not important.

yea that's a bummer. Sounds like you still have the 1k articles so that is something. Grab a backup of what is there now and then start again.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. This is a problem that many people on the forum have encountered. Below are some suggestions that you can do to solve your problem
First, contact your carrier directly and state the problem clearly. They may be able to provide solutions or technical support to help you overcome the situation.
If the issue is still not resolved after contacting your provider, you may need to consider changing hosting services. Look for a service provider with high reliability and good technical support.
If your site is not working properly after upgrading your hosting plan, consider remediation options such as restoring from backup (if available), rechecking site configuration, or attempting a repair software errors.
Good luck and hope you get your problem resolved soon

Are your website visitors from Europe rather than US? Then I'd recommend shared hosting from Hetzner, a host that is big, reliable, competitively priced and trustworthy at the same time
