Hosting suspended me for blog spam - VPS hosting the answer?

My host suspended my hosting account today for a single blog spam complaint. This company is also my domain registrar. They reactivated my hosting account after a phone call and a promise that it won't happen again. Now I am considering hosting my three websites on a VPS, but I have a few concerns.

Since this company is also my domain registrar. If I get another spam complaint can they shut me down again even though I am hosting the sites on a private VPS?

If so is there a domain registrar that will ignore spam complaints?

I know similar questions have been asked on here but I searched and didn't find any definitive answers. Thanks!

Just search for an offshore hosting mate,they don't really care...

What Acotut said and if you are going to be spamming, you need to get a bulletproof host, even if it is offshore.

So it sounds like I can just change domain registrars to one overseas and leave the host the same as the registrar would get any complaints.

Well I took the advice, switched to an offshore hosting company, and still got my hosting account suspended today. If I host on a VPS will I be safe or will the VPS company do the same damn thing?
