Hosting question

For a website that has around 400 visitors a day what type of hosting do I need?

I find it a little confusing with all the options available. Like shared, dedicated, vps and stuff, I am unsure what I need.

I am currently on Linode but the site is having issues there so I am going to leave for something with better support.

Any Hosting service is good enough for 400 users per day.
Also if your users per day grow, you can upgrade to a different plan.
From my experience I recommend on Site round because of the chat support, but there are more hosting providers that are ok such as Name Cheep.
 
I suspect your website is not optimized. 400 UV/day is not a big number, and any decent shared hosting (at least) should handle this number, without any problem. I can take a look there and send you some tips. If you want, feel free to pm me.

Go Daddy is the only host that you can never be sure if the plan that you choose is not missing something that you will need to pay separately later.
 
Just google top hosting companies and pick from the list. Any of them will suffice
 
Get a vsys shared with 12$/ 3 months pay with crypto for best result and anonymity
 
I m using linode too, so far so good. You can use runcloud to manage the vps if that is your obstacle. 400 uv can be handled by lowest linode box or any other vps or shared hosting

If you want support, you are gonna pay the premium pricing of more $$ honestly.

Otherwise, if you like being sys admin, try Digital Ocean or Vultr
 
Using Namecheap and hetzner, and happy with both of them
 
Hetzner is very good but it's a little expensive.
gullo if you want a reasonably good hosting for a few dollars per year
 
I think you have to do some homework with calculation. Check your current plan and current usages. Decide which parameters need updating.
I think results will help you to get to the next level without overpaying for the sources you might not be using in near future (but bare in mind some extra room for possible upcoming growing).
