So I just got a new client that I'm doing web development for. I'm signing him up with hostgator, but would like to do it through my CJ affiliate link so I get the $100 since I did actually refer him. So now I know Hostgator is really strict with their affiliate program and thus do not want to mess anything up since I have my own account with them and they might think I'm trying to cheat their affiliate system.
So far I want to do it by opening my affiliate link with a different web browser like firefox so that their aren't any of my cookies in there. The only problem I think that might come up is I'll be using my original paypall account to pay for the hosting since my client just gave me all the cash and wants me to handle it. Will this be a problem? Otherwise I will just have to ask my client to signup himself, or use my own credit card instead.
Any advice would be appreciated.
