Does the welcomeback here means it will work for old accounts as well ?

Yeah but its HostGator :/.... Also code wb2018 does not work. WELCOMEBACK does but it is only for the initial month. It's not recurring..

Unlikely. I used hostgator for a while, bought their discounted plan and they wouldn't fucking let me transfer so I had to pay for two plans...then I proceeded to transfer out of that despicable web hosting service entirely.
