They would have to be giving away 100% discount coupons and then I still wouldn't use them.......
Can't be bothered looking, but generally these coupons are for discount on the first month only. Suggest you don't waste your time unless you only need a months hosting....

I had hosting with them before,but switched to cheaper hosting,now heard they have became $hit since the EIG takeover.

Honestly, Hostgator and the other hosting companies associated with the entity that owns them is not someone I would be using to host my sites even with that nice discount.
Saving a couple of dollars on hosting can bite you in the backside if your sites load slowly or there is a fair amount of downtime and can cause you to stab yourself in the eye with sharp objects if you have to deal with poor customer service.
Pay the extra couple of dollars and get better hosting with better customer service and that will not deplete your positive energy when you are working on your sites.
Oh yeah, that goes to Blue Host also as they are in that family.

I was with hostgator for years and recommended them when someone would ask. I never paid attention to who their parent company was. It wasn't until I read about them here that I started to pay attention to the entity that owns them. (I won't even dignify them by putting their name here) Suffice to say, I am with dreamhost now.
