hostable - 3 years for a buck

that 3 month change makes me believe they read the boards here or other places wehre people were most likely complaining. still if you do the math, $251 / 36 months (3 years) is about $6.97 a month.

everyone just freaks out when they see $251.

I won't be buying this. I am more of a dedicated server type guy. Lets me host more crap, securely, with full control.

I got hostable some days ago and everything was fine until now that I'm starting to get "spontaneous" Internal Server Errors. :rolleyes:
 
I've been having problems with the database. Had to delete them and start all over. I don't know if it's Wordpress or the host but none of my plugins wanted to install the first time around. Tried to install Wordpress manually and when inputting the database user and password I would get errors. I tried Fantastico Deluxe again and it works so far. But themes I have to upload them to File Manager and extract them from there in order for them to work.

I could easily have given it a 4, but the support are not very knowledgeable. Only one was actually able to help me.
 
I signed up with them too. Got some problems and the first rep to talk to me is a bit harsh and not very friendly. But the next one was good and very willing to help.
 
you seem to be bashing them a lot lately. i haven't had any downtime.
 
I've had this for a week and I haven't been able to actually get a site online... Abundance of time outs,404 and internal sever errors... You will need to exercise some extreme perseverance to build a website here.

got some internal server errors too, contacted support and it was all good. Stop complaining IMO, its saving you 250+ in hosting.
 
i got no complaints , ive got a site and a blog on there so far and no downtime. ive started replacing all my email addresses to there as well , i thought at least i know for sure im not changing hosting accounts for at least 3 years
 
They have changed the terms now! its not 3 years! you have to start paying after 3 MONTHS!

on the contrary. it's still 3 years but when your 3 years are up you are subscribed for another 3 years ($250 charge), instead it is then for 3 months.

The $1 you payed is still for 3 years worth of hosting.

3 years is a long time. A lot of people are gonna forget that they registered to a hosting company.
 
To all those who used paypal with subscription, you better cancel that subscription now.

If you would like to continue with the hosting at the end of 3 years, then you make payment again.

Very simple.
