well, 99 cents

sounds like they are promoting it to just get the name out.

its been on slickdeals for a few days now and everyone seems to be happy with it.

great to host a few blogs IMO

i asked support about that recurring amount (the response was instant) only if you want to renew for 3 more years.
The speed is good , but i got at least 10 [500 internal server errors]

They can't autocharge if you used Paypal for payment! :) This really is a great deal for SEO experiments. I already have two hosting accounts (one on Mediatemple and one on Godaddy) but I will gladly take a third one for this price :D

yes, they can. You can use Paypal for recurring payments.

OMG, if their service is reliable they will beat the market with this HOT deal.

The time has come for every noob to enter the game :)

I owed eBay $19 and they own PayPal and I didn't get autocharged. You just have to make sure you don't have the company listed under Automatic Payments or something like that. But on my report it says the following:

First Payment Amount: $0.99 USD
Recurring Amount: $251.64 USD
Billing Cycle: Triennially
Next Due Date: 03/22/2014

I bought it, there was no charge-back. However, they showed a summary of what i will pay after the expiration of the first 3yrs. I think is about 250 bucks triannual.

yup, I'm definitely cancelling before then :P

Yes I know, for example Spotify charges me every month automatically.. What I meant was that they can't charge you automatically without you knowing it. You have to allow it in the payment I think. I try to be clearer with what I say in future :)
