Host for autobloggs

What is a recommended shared host for autoblogs that would not mind putting a few of them on one account?

1&1 is a good hosting company

I'm assuming these will be fairly new low traffic, low bandwidth consuming autoblogs. In that case, I would recommend hostgator simply for their customer service. But, keep in mind if you start consuming too much of the server resources, they will kick you off if needed.

Any shared host (HostMonster, HostGator, etc...) will be fine. The only difference between most of them is a dollar in their monthly cost. Stop stressing about something so miniscule lol.

Honestly, you are treading on thin ice putting multiple auto blogs on any shared hosting account, even on Hostgator. Even if you stagger your cron jobs. Note this letter from HG to person who was using WPRobot:

1&1 is the absolute last place to get hosting from; they are running neck and neck with Godaddy hosting as the two worst well known hosting providers.

Ifanafi, what you are saying is correct, with an addendum, it all depends on way too many variables to cover in a thread post. That said, what if he ends up on a server and has neighbors who are also autoblogging? Or, what if he ends up on a server with nothing but WP sites that are laden with plugins? When those red lights starts to go off, the most exotic scripts are usually the first to be pulled.

The OP's best option is to get VPS, Dedi or SEO Hosting or get a premium hosting account. Or, if worse come to worse, open up a batch of cheap hosting accounts and use those as your base until you can afford a VPS, Dedi, etc.

I had a couple of auto blogs with godaddy for a while. Had no problem whatsoever.

Get a VPS. That's the best solution.

Every time I hear of someone who had a great experience with Gdiddy hosting, it always amazes me. A while back ago, I tried their hosting on at least three different occasions and the sites ALWAYS loaded awfully slow. Then, there was the issue of dealing with their proprietary control panel that was written back in the days of Noah and the Ark. There is only so much a BHatter can take!

haha yeah! Their control panel is a mess, I give you that, but I got used with it.
It took me a lot of time to figure that one out. The most simple task become incredible complex for some reason.
Next time I need a new host I'm gonna try hostgathor though.

I run my autoblog system with 4 reseller accounts on Hostgator. For beginner I suggest you start with 1 re seller account. for time and money saving you should not try with sharing account, you're sooner finding out the disadvantage on the sharing cos of footprint on folder path.

For that price you can get a VPS and be safe. Hostgator's reseller account is a way unreliable than their sharing accounts.

try Lunarpages, they are very flexible when it comes to high load and they also assist you with improving/tweaking your site.

I'm very happy with Dreamhost. Not the cheapest hosting on the market, but is fast (my last site was up, visible and running with fresh Wordpress installation within 15 minutes from registration of the domain).

Thumbs up for hostgator, but could use bluehost. Don't know others opinion, but had no issues with both of these providers with almost 10-12 autoblogs on each of them.
