Homepage for website with silo structure

I'm working on a website with a simple silo structure using free plugins as featured here. It's a pretty straightforward process; however, I was wondering how to organize the homepage content. Should I only have links to my main silo pages on the homepage, or can I also include links to some posts?

Yes, you can give to some other link also..Your link from good Authority site means it will be very useful to your site at the same time that link should be related to your article.

I was actually referring to the internal linking structure. This is my first attempt at a strict silo type website so I'm hoping to get some advice on the best way to implement it.

For internal structure only link out to your main category pages / top level pages of your silo.

For your nav bar, do you link to other pages such as contact us etc?

Or do you use some other form of linking such as open.window?

Yes I do link out to a minimal amount of other sub-pages.

Have you ever tried using js to mask a link out?
