Holy Crap, The iOS 7 Looks Good! :o

Looks more like an Android phone now. Also, to those of you blaming Apple's lack of innovation due to Steve Jobs being gone, are quite laughable. Apple put itself in this position by making it's iPhone very locked down and "unique". In order to innovate they would need to do something new, and something new would mean Apple is no longer what it once was.

Being an Apple 'hater', I don't see anything big in this update - but their biggest obstacle is that abortion of software known as iTunes. That is a resource hogging piece of crap. They sort that out and more people may enjoy a bit more fruit in their lives.

Before I get called an Android fanboi I will point out that I have an aging Windows phone ;)

With this update they just killed what is left from Steve Jobs in iOS and made it look in a new way. I wanted to buy the new iPhone just because of the os and now I don't.

Does it play flash?lol
iphone is for hipsters and people that are stupid for technology

Damn they really know how to sell their products, in the beginning of that video they are presenting those headphones like they were some diamond earrings or something.

Can we please get back on track? This is a thread about the sneak peak of iOS 7. This isn't about iOS vs Android vs Windows Phone. They're all exceptional, or they wouldn't control such a large portion of the market. It comes down to preference.

Being a developer and designer that dabbles in UX, I think this update, even if it doesn't turn out to be spectacular, will prove to be a stepping-stone for a new vision of iOS. It will get Apple and the developers thinking in a new direction, which will spur creativity. Whether-or-not it's profound, an update like this is necessary.

"Flat" design is fairly hot right now. I tend to stay away from trends with web design, but I have to admit that even I have started to love and implement it. Flat design is a more honest approach to UI. Instead of trying to add visual depth to the design through shadows, inset box-shadows, and the like, it adheres to the reality that it's on a 2D plane and I respect that.

I can't wait to see what comes of this.

I have to agree. I'm an Apple fan also, but this IOS looks like shitty windows UI or Google phone :(
Steve, come back, man.... This guys are making things look like Google and Windows shits....

The interface looks nice but nothing mind blowing IMO.

Can't wait to update my iphone though. :)

You don't buy a phone to throw it on the street, don't you?

Also, this is why i don't like android phones, they build freaking tablets, how do you call a 4,7 inch phone a phone? This is way too stupid and i'm afraid it's getting bigger and bigger each year.. how can you hold it, does it enter your pocket? Also check youtube comparaisons, just if it has 4 cores or anything doesn't mean it loads faster.

P.S. iphones also go in this direction, i'm afraid, just that they get taller, lol

I seriously loled at your iPhone getting taller :P

But to get back on topic, some people like to have something where the user interface is user friendly, although I've read on here someone saying that you can't really ll yourself an "IM" if you're working from an iPhone. I'm not too sure about that statement.

Using the beta version now, it looks different and improved UI.. Love it

I did update and its really nice , catchy look but nothing new after the death of Steave
