Hollywood is in trouble

Not all old games, movies, songs are good. Not all new games, movies, songs are bad.

But there is a strong quality difference in general. Not just because of release quantity. After 2010s, world is gone shit. In the 90s and early 2000s, mostly good things were popular. In the 2010s and 2020s, mostly weird as fuck things are very popular.

Rap music for example, in the mid 90s and early 2000s, it was taking real talent to make a good song. Good sample melody, good voice, dope produced beat, meaningful lyrics and some hard flow logic and you had to be skilled and unique in any genre. Then in 2010s, and 2020s, there goes frogs sing and stutter on same shitty beats with no actual melody or rhythm and pink head idiots are jumping like a kangaroo. And they are mostly the most popular ones now.
I completely disagree with most of this and it is absolutely to do with the rise in the amount of content available. There's tons of good stuff out there in every sector of the arts you care to name, it just takes more time to find it because there is so much stuff and so many places to consume it. Every week a great game, movie, album, novel or play debuts. You have to look for them.

There's never been a bad decade for music, cinema, TV, theatre, literature or video games. Every single one has tons of worthwhile art and gaming to enjoy.

That’s really impressive. Imagine what we will be witnessing by the end of next year.

Hollywood is by no means doomed. AI is going to be (and already is) a cost cutting tool for them. They are into marketing movies and the movie-makers are part of their cost/overhead. Lower production cost and shorter production times will make their life easier, not harder. The ones who will suffer the most will be production crews, extras and lower level actors. The execs will most probably keep making a ton of money.

Indeed. The capabilities are growing rapidly. It's smart to think about how this affects existing models and future opportunities.
Hopefully Hollywood just uses AI and doesn’t try to ignore it. I would assume the quality of the movies is going to go up if they use it correctly.

How or why would you assume that?

Facts  quality art’s still out there, just buried under a mountain of noise. Gotta dig a little deeper now to find the real gems ;)

How or why would you assume that?
I would assume there are a lot of movie scripts that never see the light of day that could actually be hidden gems because someone doesn't see the vision now with AI smaller Production Studio could put out more movies

That doesn't mean they're going to be a higher quality of films, as you claimed in your previous post. Just more of them.

that is one viewpoint for sure, it will def be interesting too see what happens with it that is for sure. Some of these videos coming out are interesting.

We’re already seeing the movie industry start to shift, now a solo creator or a small team of just a few people can produce a fully cinematic experience without needing massive budgets. Exciting times ahead.

In terms of rap, or in general music I totally agree! Also in terms of movies. When it comes to games though I still think that it can definitely compare to old school games in terms of artistic components.

The worst models on America's Top Model can figure out where the source of light is coming from better than AI currently can. I loved the flashlight just kind of hanging out in space in the store at the beginning.
