Hmmm...Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge or the iPhone 6S Plus?

Hey guys. I see there are a number of older threads on here comparing the Galaxy and the iPhone. I have recently come to a point where I have to make a decision here and wanted to start a fresh thread to get your opinions and advice on these two awesome smartphones.

I am an iPhone guy. I just have always had one. I am no stranger to the Android operating system, but I am just more comfortable with the iPhone and I fear change.

My woman, on the other hand, has an older Samsung Galaxy, and does not want to get an iPhone.

We have decided to both upgrade our phones, to the same phones. We're both going to have an iPhone 6s Plus or a Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge. The problem is that either one of us want to budge. I am standing by iPhone and she's swearing by her Galaxy. We've been to our local T-Mobile store and have checked out both phones, but remain undecided.

Which phone do you guys think is the better one? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated!

Samsung S7, I'm using samsung s series from beginning. Still i'm using S5 and S6. I will buy s7 soon kk. Samsung s series are best to me.
 
Depends what you both want, do you both want simplicity and as minimal lag and glitches as possible? Then go for iphone, interface is very smooth and it wont crash and wont lag out as much as the galaxy.
Do you want a fast phone that has a awesome camera and is fast? Then go for for galaxy.
Both have their pros, i owe the iphone 6s and galaxy s7. Iphone never crashed on me and never bugged out so i prefer it over galaxy.
PRO TIP: When a new iphone comes out, NEVER upgrade the ios of the older iphones. For example Lets say i have the iphone 6s with ios 9.1.2 and the iphone 7 comes out plus and updated ios of 9.1.3. The new updated ios makes the older devices much slower and more glitchy. This is so customers can upgrade their old iphone for a new iphone, which gives apple more cash. Google it if you dont believe me. Same thing applies to macs. I had a 2011 mac with the old osx running smoothly and perfectly. i updated to the most recent osx and performance is horrible!

The Galaxy phone I guess. I've never been an Apple fan.
 
I'd go with S7. When in doubt I always check is MKBDH
 
I've had the S7 (not edge) since launch and it's great. The battery life is really nice and the phone is pretty sturdy.
 
Personally? Neither.

I'd never get an iphone, but since the Galaxy S7 came out, I wasn't too impressed with the specs, to be honest. All Samsung has done is slightly improve the specs of the S6, and then attempted to make it seem cooler than it is, by creating a gimmicky VR headset that you can use it with.

I used to love Samsung because they would come up with phones wildly better and more creative than anything else on the market. The camera was amazing, it would have an ultra battery saving mode, it would be waterproof, it would be bigger, etc. The S7 just seemed underwhelming, so I opted for the Xperia Z5 Premium this year. It's just sleeker, and the back is a mirror, so I can look at myself without using the camera. That's true ingenuity.
 
Before picking. iPhone has awesome integrations between many devices if you are "apple guy" I would go with iPhone
 
Switched to the S7 edge from Iphone. Was close to getting a 6S but to get a big screen would mean a plus and it would cost soo much!

Got a deal on the S7 edge and couldn't be happier.
 
oh and being able to toss in a 128 mem card plus waterproof sealed the deal!
 
S7 definitely better, Iphone overrated as fuk
