Project Overview​

We are looking for a WordPress developer (or agency) to build a Burial Information and Memorial System, similar to the reference site: Memorial QR – Example.


The platform should allow administrators, moderators, and users to manage records of buried persons, with biography pages, photos, and QR Code integration.

Required Features​

1. Buried Persons Search
   • Any visitor can search for buried persons registered in the system.
   • Search by name, date, cemetery, or QR Code.
     
2. User Accounts & Contributions
   • Users may register an account and submit additional information about the buried person (biography, photos).
   • All submissions must be approved by administrators before becoming public.
     
3. Moderation Workflow
   • Administrators can review, approve, or reject user submissions.
   • Only approved content will be published.
     
4. Administrator Functions
   • Add new burial records manually.
     
5. QR Code Memorial Plates
   • Supply of 1,000 stainless steel plates (4x4 cm) with engraved QR Codes.
   • Each QR Code links directly to the online memorial page.
   • Each burial record can contain up to 5 gravesites, each with its own biography and photos.
     
6. QR Code Behavior
   • If the QR Code points to only one gravesite, the memorial page opens directly.
   • If the QR Code is linked to multiple gravesites, the user first sees a list of persons and can choose which profile to open.

Technical Requirements​

• Platform: WordPress
• Custom Post Types for “Buried Persons”
• Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) or equivalent for biography, cemetery, and photos
• Workflow plugin for moderation (e.g., PublishPress or Edit Flow)
• Automatic QR Code generator plugin (one QR per record)
• Responsive design, clean UI, similar to the reference site
• Multilingual support (Portuguese) is a plus
