Hello,

So I have posted a thread to hire someone in the ‘Hire a Freelancer’ category, however if anyone asks any questions then I’m unable to respond to them and therefore forced to send a private message.

Maybe worth looking into?

Thanks gang :)

Maybe read the rules of that section before asking such questions?

"To reply to a Hire a Freelancer thread you will need to have an active Jr VIP, Premium or Marketplace seller subscription."

Yeah, if you do not have an upgraded membership you cannot respond to a HAF or WTB thread (that includes via PM).

If an upgraded member posts in your thread feel free to PM him or her.

If you are contacted by someone who does not have an upgraded membership we would appreciate it if you would report that person as they are stealing from the forum, making a mockery of those that do have an upgraded membership and are partly why we have a shitlist subforum.

Question asked and answered so I'll lock this down but we appreciate you asking to get a better understanding of how the forum operates.

It was looked into and the rules changed to stop people joining, replying to HAF then scamming buyers. By making the ability only for upgraded members to reply to these and WTB, the number of potential scams has dropped a hell of a lot.
