High Pageranked Domains... worth it?

Would you purchase a high pagerank (PR3-4) aged domain for $200 or so, and then SEO it?

I'm looking to build a site around a lot of mini terms and a few main terms. My guess is, the domain with high pr will appear more established for search engines than buying a new domain, which I have found to take 4-5 months with white hat SEO strategies, i'm not looking to blackhat this. And with google's algorithm change, i'm sure this will help, because my site content is unique, and backlinks are quality.

What are your thoughts?

Is risky to purchase old domains... sometimes if you change all the content of a site and change for other, all your page rank could disspapear.

In fact pagerank is not very valuable by itself,it only count if your are going to sell links,but I have some pages with rank 0 or 2 in the first position.

Forget about PR and search for old domains,and if it0's possible that have some powerfull backlinks already so you save some hard work, and, if it's posible, that contain your exact keyword words in it...

google notices ownership changes even if you get private registration because there is a delay you can do nothing about.

expect the pr to drop after a year, it is only worth it if the domain and it's original backlinks are closely related to what you're selling

I have a gambling directory website with a pagerank 7 homepage and all pagerank 6 subpages. I want to sell the whole website but dont know where ? Can soemone tell me where can i sell a full functional website ? Thanks

I've done this several times with success, and never had a problem. Granted, I did a few things to juice up the domain immediately, but it works.
