I think whatever site i am browsing, My ISP can track. How can I completely hide my Internet browsing or whatever i am doing in internet from my ISP. Probably each ISP has got some proxy server for caching to increase further browsing speed. Your help is highly appreciated.
I can't speak for the USA or other countries for sure, since I don't know if the laws there are different, but in Australia it is illegal for ISPs to track anything you do on the internet. It is against the privacy act to monitor your usage without cause.
They actually don't want to know what you are doing,
especially if it is not legal. If they don't know, they aren't liable, if they do know, they can be liable.
The only time they can monitor your usage is if they are presented with a warrant or court order from a judge. For the police to get one they need reasonable suspicion in the first place.
Another interesting fact for you guys, out of all the warrants granted, 80% or more are for the investigation of child porn.
Oh, and as for hiding what you are doing from the ISP, you can't. If they get a warrant, and want to check, they can. End of the day, everything you do goes through them.
